As part of our services, we can assist with the appointment of immobiliers (estate agents) to sell your property, preparing your house for sale, the handling of the necessary processes and administration for selling properties, as well as helping source suitable properties for buyers.

If your property is for sale, we can also assist you and liaise with the agents to assist with any necessary work, visits or documentation to help speed up the process in your absence and to give you peace of mind that there is a point of contact here capable of assisting you competently with these tasks.

Sourcing and Liaising with Estate Agents

Whether your are looking to sell your property, or looking to buy, we have excellent professional contacts with immobiliers (estate agents) in our area, and covering further afield. We can work with the agents to help source properties, arrange valuations, coordinate property viewings for potential buyers, and for general advice on the buying and selling of properties.

Property Preparation, Cleaning and Staging

If you’re looking to sell your property, we can help prepare and make recommendations for your property to increase its appeal to potential buyers. This could include a deep clean of the property, staging of the interior and exterior areas for photos and viewings, minor DIY tasks or repairs, or any other necessary preparations to give an excellent first impression to potential buyers. If the property is vacant, we can also undertake regular visits to the property to keep on top of cobwebs and dust, and would strongly recommend our Keyholding Services for vacant properties.

Removals and Inventories

If you need to pack and move belongings, or arrange for the sale of items in your property, this is also something that we can assist with. We can work with removal companies to help pack, unpack and organise logistics, oversee the collection and delivery of items, and arrange viewing visits with auction houses or house clearance companies. We can also undertake detailed inventories of belongings before and after transportation for peace of mind, or insurance purposes.

Administration and Obligations

There are various obligations for property owners in terms of information and administration that must be undertaken to prepare a property for sale. This can include obligatory procedures such as DPE and diagnostic evaluations, chimney sweeping, electrical inspections, fosse inspections, or collating information about a property. We can help arrange such appointments, or undertake the necessary administrative tasks, and attend appointments on behalf of the property owner, transmitting the necessary information to the notaire or immobilier.

Representation of Client

If you are buying or selling a property, and cannot be at the property, or in the area, when required, we can act on behalf of our clients. This may be to collect or deposit keys for a property, to undertake the property inspections prior to the signing of contracts, or to act as proxy for the clients at the signing. We can also act as an intermediary for you during the samle or purchase process to help explain and translate documents if, and when, required.

The services listed here are not exhaustive, and we can assist with any aspect of the practical or administrative management of your property. These services are not restricted to our keyholding clients, and we are happy to take on ad-hoc and one-off works.

Please note that we only work for Private Residences, and do not undertake any work in relation to commercial rentals such as holiday lets or gites.
